Before you even try to deep-clean a carpet, there are a few things you should know. The first and most important of these guidelines is that not all deep carpet cleaning machines are created equally. Make sure the brand of the machine you are using is a trusted one, preferably one with a long-standing relationship with its clients. This indicator does not work with all industries, but in carpet cleaning, a long relationship with clients is a good indicator that machine will give you more value for your money.
Because carpets always come in contact with shoes, slippers, and perhaps dirty feet, dirt and grime will inevitably be pressed down on the carpet. It doesn’t matter how often a client vacuums his or her carpet, or how quickly they respond to a spill – some of the dirt and stain will gather and collect in the carpet. This is the reason why a carpet will need to be deep cleaned every few months or so.
Vacuum cleaners are too weak to remove deeply embedded dirt and grime, and the carpet cleaning equipment used in deep cleaning a carpet are heavy-duty industrial machines powerful enough to blast away the dirt through a combination of processes – vacuums, heat, and cleaning compounds. Each process loosens the embedded dirt just a little bit more for the next process, and after a certain amount of repetition, the dirt and stain is finally pried loose.
